Appearances & Events
Thats what is being said, and truth be told, it’s not that far fetched. Since we have been on hiatus, Kelly inked a deal with BET and announced it earlier this year (April), that she will be launching a new TV series entitled, “Chasing Destiny“.
“Chasing Destiny” will follow a search for the hottest and most talented up-and-coming singer that will bring together young women with all that’s required to meet Kelly Rowland’s standards for excellence.
“In the series, these singing hopefuls will vie their way to stardom with recording mogul Rowland helping them to find their voice as entertainers,” the network said
With that being said, why wouldn’t BET’s newest diva make an appearance? In the meantime, check out photos from the Upfronts (Chicago, New York City), and the picture of Kelly that BET has been sending out for BET Awards promotion, which is from Kelly’s 2010 “I Heart My Girlfriends” Photoshoot.
Kelly Rowland belted out “Work” during a flashy unveiling of the redesigned Mercedes-Benz C-Class sport sedan in Detroit Sunday night.
Her performance reflected the company’s desire to attract a younger, more diverse group of customers, and the pressure Mercedes and other car makers are under to make a big impression when rolling out new models. Instead of the usual, simple stage and seats, the venue inside the Westin Book Cadillac hotel felt more like a club or lounge.
It was ladies’ night as VH1 presented its annual “VH1 Divas” live from the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles on Sunday. Music’s leading ladies dazzled on the red carpet in their glamorous gowns before heading inside to honor some of the greatest divas of all time including the late Whitney Houston and Donna Summer.
Kelly Rowland and Keri Hilson came together to honor the late, great Donna Summer at “VH1 Divas.” Channeling the legendary disco diva with her curly big hair, Kelly kicked things off with “Bad Girls” before Miss Keri hit the stage with “She Works Hard for the Money.” Host Adam Lambert joined the ladies before all three performers united for the finale of “Last Dance.”
