Beyoncé Giselle Knowles
(born September 4, 1981) is a Grammy Award-winning American R&B singer, songwriter, record producer, Golden Globe Award-nominated actress, dancer, and fashion designer and model for House of Deréon. After a series of commercially successful releases with the group, Knowles released her debut solo album Dangerously in Love in 2003. The album became one of the biggest commercial successes of the year, topping the album charts in the U.S. and the UK. It also spawned the number-one singles “Crazy in Love” and “Baby Boy” and earned Beyoncé a record-tying five Grammy Awards in a single night in 2004. Knowles’s sophomore album, B’Day, which was released worldwide on September 4, 2006 (her twenty-fifth birthday) continued her success. The album spawned the UK number-one single “Deja Vu”, “Ring the Alarm”, and the worldwide number-one hit “Irreplaceable”.

After the release and promotion of Survivor, Williams became the first member to release a solo studio album. Her Gospel album, Heart To Yours , shot up to #1 on the Billboard Gospel Chart and became the biggest-selling Gospel album of 2002, making her the first member of Destiny’s Child to do so; she then broke into acting with her starring role in the Broadway hit, Aida, replacing R&B singer Toni Braxton.
Following the success of her debut, Michelle released her sophomore album, entitled Do You Know, in 2004, featuring the single of the same name and a Destiny’s Child Gospel track I Know. In July of 2006 it was confirmed by LaTavia herself said that she has been secretly recording her debut album on and off since March. So far she has collaborated with producers such as Scott Storch and hopes to work with Houston rappers Mike Jones and Slim Thug in the future, but was quick to point out this is in no way an attempt to recreate the success of former bandmate LeToya Luckett.

She also appeared in the music video for “Jumpin’ Jumpin’” and her vocals can be heard on “Independent Women Part 1 (vocals are rumored to have been removed from the album version)”, “Jumpin’ Jumpin” (Azza’s Remix & WMBA Version), and “Dance With Me”.
Five months after joining Destiny’s Child, Franklin resigned. In 2005, Franklin embarked on a solo career; she is stated to be working on a new album.
