Letoya Catches Up With Kelly

Letoya Luckett recently spoke to HoneyMag.com about several rumors, Destiny’s Child and her recent rekindled friendship with Kelly.
An excerpt from Letoya’s HoneyMag blog:
I wasn’t upset about losing a chance to go to the Grammy’s or any celebrity perks. It was the loss of the friendship that was difficult. That was the hardest part of the separation. These girls [Beyonce, Kelly Rowland, LaTavia Roberson] were my friends from elementary school. We went to church together, we hung out together.
To go from that to sitting across from each other in a courtroom and going through all that law stuff, was just crazy. You just kind of look at each other differently. That’s when I realized that the friendship had died. Figuring out how we were going to split assets and profits and all of that felt like a divorce.
God is so amazing. Recently, I ran into Kelly and we got to catch up briefly. It was one of those things where you never know how the other person is going to react. But it was relaxed. I think we’ve both gotten to the age where it’s like, Girl please! She even hit me up the other day to let me know she was traveling. I would love to have a close friendship again, but that’s on God’s time.
After many positive reviews of Kelly’s new single Commander the only questions left are when and where the video will be shot. Rico Love tweeted:

Last week (April 17) Kelly was spotted at an airport when she made quiet a few fans happy by posing for a picture while waiting for her flight. She was looking fabulous!
Remember that performance Kelly did at Haze Night Club back in February? Well, after 2 months here is the video:
By far this is not her best performance, but she still did a good job. My personal favorite When Love Takes Over performance is on the Le Grand Journal.

“Babe, I saw you trying to do the Zulu dance!” quips one of the directors. “Yeah, but it’s hard in heels and this dress.”
The beautiful creature in question is Kelly Rowland and the occasion is the filming of MTN’s official song for our much-anticipated World Cup.
Everywhere You Go features some of the biggest artists on the African continent: the beautiful Samini from Ghana, Awadi from Senegal, 2Face and our favourite South African rappers – Jozi, Slikour, Zuluboy and the up-and-coming Kwesta.
The idea was conceived by Antos Stella of AS Entertainment, who is the person behind the success of such legends as Lucky Dube.
“I’d always wanted to do a song featuring Africa’s top artists,” she said. “I’d covered the whole of Africa and realised hip hop is happening on this continent. But I wanted to do a track with artists who use traditional African elements in hip hop.” (Read more… )
Hit maker Rico Love speaks to Rap-Up about Kelly’s new single and producing 7 songs on her upcoming album. Rico says, “Commander will come next week” and goes on to speaks about her new confidence and sound.
Kelly posted some stunning twitpics from her twitter account for her first CosmopolitanSA photo shoot! she looks amazing. The magazine is set to hit stands in July.

By far this song sounds amazing, Kelly performed exceptionally well. I love the choreography and the dancers. This is definitely going to top the charts worldwide.
Tonight Kelly will make a quick appearance on the second episode of Brandy and brother Ray J’s new Vh1 television show, A Family Business. Tune in to Vh1 at 9pm (est).
Kelly will also appear a few more times throughout the season, including Brandy’s birthday episode.
